2 children shot; lightly injured in Umm al-Fahm protest

The Umm al-Fahm protest against the Israeli attack in Gaza ended Sunday afternoon. During the demonstration, one of the protesters fired random gunshots and hit two children, aged 10 and 11, lightly injuring them.


Umm al-Fahm Mayor Sheikh Khaled Hamdan in the rally urged Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh to unite, saying, "There is nothing better, the time has come for unity." (Sharon Roffe-Ofir)
