US Middle East envoy arrives in Cairo

The new special US envoy to the Middle East George Mitchell arrived in Cairo on his first stop in his tour of the region.
During his visit, Mitchell is slated to meet with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and with Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit. (AFP)
