Knesset Director-General Balashnikov to head Comptroller's Office

State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss has appointed Knesset Director-General Avi Balashnikov to head the State Comptroller's Office and is expected to announce the appointment early next week.
Balashnikov, 43, has served as Knesse director-general for two years. He previously headed the Communications Ministry. (Aviad Glickman)
