Hundreds mark Land Day in Deir Hanna

Hundreds of people arrived in the Deir Hanna in northern Israel to commemorate the 33rd Land Day. The demonstrators include Knesset members and public dignitaries.
Hadash MK Afou Agbaria told Ynet, "The reasons that lead to Land Day are still relevant and valid today, land confiscation continues and Israel seems to be interested in keeping the Arab population in a state of deprivation and weakness." (Sharon Roffe – Ofir)
