2 haredim carrying anti-pope signs detained

Two ultra-Orthodox Jews were detained for questioning near the Augusta Victoria Hospital in east Jerusalem after being found with signs against Pope Benedict XVI's visit to Israel.


Meanwhile, police reported that so far, some 6,500 calls were made to the information center regarding questions related to the pope's visit. (Efrat Weiss)
