A collage of women’s voices

Adina Feldman is delighted to be performing in the forthcoming Israel Festival. A native of New York, now living in Israel, she is looking forward to meeting other artists and sharing the stage with them

A Collage of Women’s voices is a program inspired by some of the world’s greatest vocalists from Ella Fitzgerald to Barbara Streisand. It is a musical presentation that explores the many facets of a woman’s life through music and the spoken word.

 

Merging music of the legendary female vocalists including the Andrews Sisters, Ella Fitzgerald, Judy Garland, Bette Midler, Carly Simon, Carol King, Billie Holiday, Barbara Streisand and others, together with Adina Feldman’s own musical compositions, Collage ‘Shel Isha’ presents a broad range of musical styles. Adina Feldman presents the narrative introducing and contextualizing the lives of the female artists.

 

An accomplished singer and songwriter, dancer and choreographer, her disc ‘Here You Are’ containing eleven original songs has recently been released.

 

Her professional credits include many musical theater productions, movies, a series of one woman shows and much more. Since moving to Israel in 1990 she has worked and performed throughout Israel in different artistic ventures as a director, choreographer, teacher and performer.

 

Adina Feldman’s unique ‘Collage of Women’s Voices’ will take place in the lobby of the Jerusalem Theatre on Monday June 1, commencing 11pm. Admission is free.

 

Adina will be accompanied by Ranko Rihtman, keyboard and Musical Director. Oren Avisar, percussion. Danny Zuckerman, bass. Eli Hen Abramov, guitar. Ofer Shapira, saxophone and Roz Horowitz, vocalist.
