Juiceland opening Cyprus branch
Israeli juice company plans to launch 10 stores across Mediterranean island in next two and a half years. London branch scheduled to open within several months
The Israeli Juiceland chain is extending its activity abroad: The juice company, which currently has 27 branches, is entering Cyprus for the first time and opening a branch in the new Tiffany mall in the city of Limassol.
According to the plans, the chain will open 10 additional branches across the island in the next two and a half years. The first branches will open in Limassol and Nicosia.
In addition, the company is in the midst of advanced negotiations for the opening of branches in Britain, with the first one scheduled to open in London within several months.
The company also plans to open 10 additional branches in the country the next two years. The new branches in Cyprus and Britain will be opened at first in a model of local franchises.
The Juiceland chain was recently purchased by businessman Dan Werner as part of the establishment of Mutagei Zahav ("golden brands") – a company managing the fast food chains owned by Werner, including Coffee Bean, Sbarro, the Morag food group and Same Same.
In Israel Juiceland is about to open five new branches, including stores in Rehovot, at the Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba, at the Schuster Center in Tel Aviv's Ramat Aviv neighborhood and in Tel Aviv's Dizengoff Street.
The chain's annual sales turnover stands at NIS 43 million ($11 million), and it is expected to increase its sales turnover by 15% by the end of 2009.
