Colombian peacekeeper dies from gunshot in Egypt

The spokesman for an international peacekeeping mission in Egypt says a Colombian soldier died of a gunshot wound sustained when another Colombian peacekeeper fired from his weapon.
Normand St. Pierre says the shooting occurred Thursday at the Colombian contingent's camp of el-Gora, in the Sinai Peninsula. St. Pierre says the wounded soldier was evacuated to an Israeli hospital in Tel Aviv, where he later died. The incident is under investigation. (AP)
