US Vice President Joe Biden's 92-year-old mother has died after becoming seriously ill in recent days.
In a statement, the vice president says Jean Finnegan Biden died Friday in Wilmington, Delaware, surrounded by her family and loved ones. Biden says his mother was the center of the family, teaching them that faith will guide them through tough times. (AP)
