2009 sees 10% rise in demand for new apartments

The demand for new apartments rose by 10% in 2009 – the most dramatic increase since 2002, a Central Bureau of Statistics report indicates.
The sharpest rise in demand was recorded in the Haifa area with a 29.5% increase. During 2009, 2,360 apartments were sold or built. (Ynet)
