Al-Aqsa Brigades: Give us weapons to defend Jerusalem
Fatah's military wing, the al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades, has demanded that the Palestinian Authority return its weapons in order to defend Jerusalem, after most of the organization members turned over their weapons to the PA as part of an amnesty agreement signed with Israel about two years ago.
The Brigades said in a statement that the security forces in the West Bank were asked to release all detained fighers in order to let them join "the resistance against the occupation and the Zionist offensive." (Ali Waked)
