IAF strikes arms shed in Gaza

Israeli jets strike weapons shed in Gaza City hours after two rockets fired at South. Palestinians say bombed structure completely leveled, four civilians lightly injured from shrapnel

Response to rocket attack. Israel Air Force jets struck an weapons shed in Gaza City Monday night. The IDF Spokesperson's Unit said an exact hit was indentified.

 

Palestinian security forces said four civilians were lightly injured from shrapnel, and that the structure was empty at the time of the strike. Gaza sources also reported that the structure was completely leveled in the strike.

 

Two Qassam rockets were fired at Israel on Monday. One rocket exploded in an open area around noon, and several hours later another rocket landed near Erez crossing on the Palestinian side.

 

There were no reports of injuries in either incident.

 

Two rockets were also fired at Israel on Sunday, one of them landed south of Ashkelon.

 

Over the weekend Palestinians reported that 14 people were injured in an Israeli strike near the Dahaniya airport. Two of them sustained serious injuries. The strike over the weekend came in response to rockets fired at southern Israel.
