Former Labor leader Aryeh 'Lova' Eliav dies at 89

Aryeh "Lova" Eliav, one of the early leaders of the Labor party, has died at the age of 89. He was recently admitted into the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center due to a serious illness.
Eliav served as a Knesset member on behalf of the Mapai and Labor parties in 1965-1975 during which he also acted as a deputy minister and Labor party secretary-general. (Attila Somfalvi)
