Former Chief Sephardic Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu died Monday. He was 81.
Eliyahu passed away in Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem, where he was hospitalized several months ago, due to his failing health. (Shmulik Grossman)
