Tehran: 91 arrested in protests to mark 1 year since elections
Tehran police chief Hossein Sajedinia said that 91 people have been arrested during the demonstrations Saturday. He added that because there had been no violence, no police officers were injured.
A few hundred opposition supporters demonstrated in various areas of the capital to mark one year since the controversial presidential elections which led to huge demonstrations which deteriorated into violence. The demonstrators on Saturday were soon dispersed by security forces. (Dudi Cohen)
