Dozens of ultra-Orthodox attacked a vehicle traveling through Jerusalem's Mea Shearim neighborhood Sunday evening because it had "Electra" stickers on it.
Pamphlets that have been distributed in the haredi community over the past few weeks claim Electra is a part owner of the Andromeda Hill complex in Jaffa, the site of recent haredi riots against excavation works taking place in an area where they say Jewish graves are located.

The haredim threatened to ban all of the company's products if the work is not suspended. Two weeks ago an Electra technician was assaulted in Beit Shemesh, marking an escalation of the campaign against the company.
During Sunday's incident, which occurred at around 7:30 pm, the two women inside the vehicle, who were on their way to visit a rabbi in Mea Shearim and receive his blessing, were surrounded by dozens of ultra-Orthodox who pelted the vehicle with stones. The women alerted police, who arrived at the scene several minutes later and managed to rescue the women unharmed.
"The women were in a state of panic," an officer told Ynet. "They both filed a complaint."
Electra said in response, "The company has not been legally connected to the construction at the Andromeda complex for over a year now."
