Lieberman. 'Pressure the other side'

Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman
on Thursday visited the Golan Heights, where he continued to voice his pessimistic doctrine on the prospects of peace.
"Israel's historic right to be in the Golan Heights is known to everyone," the foreign minister said, suggesting that the world read a French report on the transfer of weapons
from Syria to Hezbollah
and mentioning the presence of Hamas and the Islamic Jihad in Damascus.
"Everyone asks, 'Is Syria a peace partner?' Only a political hypochondriac can say Syria is a peace partner, especially under the current regime," Lieberman said in the city of Katzrin, where he was made an honorary citizen.

He went on to slam US President Barack Obama for criticizing Israel's building plans in east Jerusalem, expressing his support for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and "his steadfast stand".
"No one can accept a situation in which we cannot build in Gilo or Har Homa. We will not accept any additional freeze – not for three months, not for a month, and not for a day. Whoever wants to pressure us should pressure the other side. As far as we are concerned, a long-term interim agreement should be discussed, because a permanent agreement is impossible."
Lieberman, who was accompanied by Ministers Uzi Landau, Sofa Landver, and Stas Misezhnikov, as well as six Knesset members, promised to launch Yisrael Beiteinu's next election campaign in Katzrin.
