Not afraid. Rotem

A threatening voice message in English was left on the answering machine at the home of Knesset Member Yuval Rotem, one of the initiators of a bill which would grant autonomous and legitimate status to the conversions taking place in the IDF, effectively detaching the military conversion courts from the Chief Rabbinate.
The government is set to vote on the bill on Sunday after the Ministerial Committee on Legislative Affairs has already approved it. The haredi public is staunchly opposed to the initiative.

The message said the fate of the Yisrael Beiteinu member will be worse than that of comatose former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, adding that the MK's conservative and reformist friends will "publish everything" about him.
Rotem said in response, "I am not afraid of them. I am familiar with the haredim and their proficiency in threats and insults. I say to them: Call me and we'll set a time and place. I'll be waiting for them."
The MK estimated that the bill would pass "against the will of those who threaten and insult."
