Bon Jovi: We're coming to Israel

American band to perform in Holy Land next year, lead singer tells CNN's Larry King

Day of celebration for rock music fans: Last year Ynet reported that Bon Jovi and Israeli producers were close to finalizing a first time ever Bon Jovi performance in Israel – now it's official.

In an interview with Larry King on CNN, lead singer Jon Bon Jovi told the host that "next year the band will perform in Israel for the first time". Bon Jovi didn't give any additional details, but said that the performance would take place at the 'Olympic stadium'. Most likely he meant the Ramat Gan stadium.

The old and beloved band from New Jersey launched their international tour over a year ago. Since then they have held a number of special performances, including one on the roof of London's famous O2 auditorium.

While the band is coming to Israel to promote its latest album, "The Circle," it will most likely perform some of its well known hits from previous albums as this is the first time they will be performing in front of an Israeli audience.
