Egypt TV: Curfew imposed on Cairo, Alexandria and Suez

A curfew has been imposed in the cities of Cairo, Alexandria and Suez until further notice, following violent anti-government protests held in the past few hours, Egyptian television reported.

"At first the protests were non-violent, but they were later joined by people seeking to harm the state and public property," a television broadcaster said.
