Singer Avihu Shabat plays Israeli reporter in episode 6,072 of popular American soap opera 'The Bold and the Beautiful'

Between Eric and Ridge at Forrester Creations: Israeli singer Avihu Shabat took part in an episode of popular American soap opera "The Bold and the Beautiful" last week.

Shabat is currently in Los Angeles, where he is filming an Israeli reality show. On Tuesday he was suddenly alerted to set of the "Bold and the Beautiful" to play an Israeli reporter taking part in a press conference at Forrester Creations fashion house.

Shabat had the privilege of starring alongside the show's legendary characters Ridge, Brooke and Stephanie. "It was exciting," he says. "I was treated very warmly by the cast and production team.

In order to watch Shabat's performance you'll have to wait for the show's 6,072nd episode. "The Bold and the Beautiful" recently marked its 6,000th episode in the United States.

"The Bold and the Beautiful" premiered in 1987, when Shabat was only 1 year old. Since then, the show has become the most-watched soap opera in the world, and it is currently broadcast in more than 100 countries. Its four leading actors have been on the show since its first episode.
