J'lem: Stone thrower sentenced to 8 months in prison

Muhammad Sharf, 22, was sentenced to eight months in prison after being convicted of endangering lives while hurling stones at the car of Elad Foundation director David Be'eri. The Jerusalem District Court also sentenced Sharf to one year of probation.
Last October, Be'eri was documented trying to run over stone throwers. He heads a foundation which aims to increase Jewish settlement in east Jerusalem. (Aviad Glickman)
