H&M opening in Netanya, Petah Tikva

New stores to be inaugurated this month, joining Swedish fashion chain's four other Israel branches

Swedish fashion chain H&M will open two new stores in Israel in the next two weeks. The first store will be inaugurated at Petah Tikva's Avnat Mall on March 24, and the second will open at Netanya's Sharon Mall on March 31.

The two new stores will join the four branches which were opened in 2010 in Tel Aviv's Azreili Mall, Jerusalem's Malcha Mall, Haifa's Grand Canyon shopping center, and Kfar Saba's G Center.

The Petah Tikva store will be the first in Israel to sell the Modern Classic men's line – a classic and tailored collection, alongside clothes for women, men, youth, children and babies, which are also sold in all of the chain's other stores in Israel. The two-floor store stretches over 2,000 square meters (21,500 square feet).

The Netanya store stretches over 1,300 square meters (14,000 square feet) and will offer clothes for women, youth, children and babies.

According to Match Retail, H&M's franchiser in Israel, additional stores will open this year in the cities of Rehovot and Herzliya. Gift certificates will be handed out to the first buyers during the opening of the two new stores this month.
