Bahrain accuses activists of plots to topple state

Bahrain's military prosecutor is accusing 21 political activists of seeking to overthrow the ruling monarchy in a widening crackdown after a pro-reform uprising by the island nation's Shiite majority.
The state-run Bahrain News Agency says the cases were sent Sunday to a special security court set up under martial law in the strategic Gulf nation, which is home to the US Navy's 5th Fleet. (AP)
