Israel's law authorities believed he was traveling around the world using a fictitious name, after he fled the country with a fake passport.
After almost 11 years, Thai media reported that Ben-David was arrested by the Bangkok Police with his wife. According to the reports, he entered Thailand with a counterfeit Maldivian passport and has two children from his current spouse, who knew about his past.
Thailand plans to extradite Ben-David to Israel soon, the reports stated.
