The spokesman for the Popular Resistance Committees (PRC) said Sunday that the organization's military arm objects a lull agreement with Israel. "Our position is clear. We have nothing to do with the cease-fire agreement with the Zionist enemy," the spokesman told a Palestinian news agency.
According to him, Israel was the one who escalated the situation by targeting organization leaders; therefore it should take responsibility for its actions. The spokesman added they "cannot accept a lull agreement as long as aircrafts keep bombing the area." (Elior Levy)
