Impressive capital raising for Israeli startup company Quixey: The company, which developed a search engine for applications, has raised another $3.8 million in addition to an investment by former Google CEO Eric Schmidt's investment fund earlier this year.
The technology developed by Quixey allows users to search for applications according to the nature of their activity, rather than according to name.
The company was founded by Tomer Kagan and Liron Shapira, and is currently based in Palo Alto, California.
