The Turkish Islamist movement IHH has announced its intention to dispatch the Mavi Marmara vessel, which took part in the Gaza flotilla in May 2010, on a humanitarian mission to Somalia due to the drought in the region, the official Turkish news agency reported.
The organization said it especially wanted to help malnourished children and infants. The movement has so far brought 14 Somali kids for treatment in Istanbul. According to the report, the ship is to serve as a mobile hospital. (Aviel Magnezi)
