New Herods hotel to be built on 'island' off Herzliya coast
NIS 300 million will be invested in 230-room hotel, which is slated to be completed in 2013
A new Herods hotel is planned on an "island" surrounded by the Mediterranean on three sides off the coast of Herzliya. NIS 300 million will be invested in the hotel, which is slated to be completed in 2013.
The hotel will be built by the Roni Yitzhaki and David Fattal groups, who have inked the deal in recent days.
The new hotel will be designed by Architect Ranni Ziss, while the interior design will be done by Ilan Pivko. It will include 230 rooms and suites, a business lounge, swimming pool, gym, conference rooms and more.
This will be the seventh business hotel managed by the Fattal chain in central Israel. About two years ago, the Leonardo Boutique hotel opened in Tel Aviv's hi-tech district Ramat Hahayal, followed by the opening of a Herods hotel on the Tel Aviv promenade.
Next month, the Leonardo boutique hotel will open in the science park near the Weizmann Institute in Rehovot.
"Herzliya is considered a central location of business and leisure and I believe the new hotel's exceptional location and meticulous design will make it a leading hotel in Israel," said David Fattal.
