Building R&D center to grant company $5-8.5 million in financial support

The Finance Ministry and the chief scientist at the Industry, Trade and Labor Ministry have presented a new program aimed at encouraging international corporations to advance research and development in the field of life sciences and invest in Israeli companies.
The program will be operated on two different routes. In the first one, the corporation will pledge to set up and operate an R&D center in Israel in the field of life sciences, which would employ more than 60 workers.
Building an R&D center will grant the corporation NIS 19-32 million ($5-8.5 million) in financial support.
In the second route, the State will participate in Israeli companies' projects.
