Erdogan: I won't meet Netanyahu without an apology
Turkish PM says bilateral relations will prosper again once Israel meets terms Ankara has set including lifting Gaza blockade
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said he will not meet Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu "before Israel fulfills the terms I have set for the restoration of our bilateral relations," Yedioth Ahronoth reported Wednesday.
Erdogan stipulated three conditions: an Israeli apology (for the flotilla raid), compensation and the lifting of "the terrible Israeli blockade on Gaza."
"If and when Israel fulfils these terms, relations between our two countries can prosper once again," the Turkish prime minister said.
Istanbul is currently hosting the World Economics Forum on the Middle East, North Africa and Eurasia.
