Baron Cohen had plans meet with President Shimon Peres whom he is said to admire.
Baron Cohen was supposed to visit Israel in June in order to attend the annual Presidential Conference.
He planned to attend a press conference while dressed as the Dictator. However, he was forced to cancel his visit at the last minute.
Baron Cohen, 41, was born to an Orthodox Jewish family in West London. His mother, Daniella Naomi (née Weiser), was born in Israel. He speaks Hebrew and frequently combines it in his films as gibberish.
