Job offers up 17.5% in June
Some 72,500 available positions were reported during June, 7% jump from last year. Highest number of jobs recorded in retail, wholesale trade
An increase in the number of available positions in the business sector was recorded during the month of June, the Central Bureau of Statistics reported on Sunday.
Some 72,500 available positions were reported in June – a 17.5% increase from the previous month and a 7% jump from June 2011. The largest increase was reported in the wholesale and retail trade industries (some 3,600 available positions) and the community and social services sector (2,900 available positions).

The second quarter of 2012 recorded a total of 68,100 vacant jobs, compared with 69,500 during the first quarter of the year.
Israel's rate of available positions in the first quarter of the year was 2.8% higher than that of European Union members, accept for Malta and Finland, that boasted a greater number of job opportunities.
