Ariel College recognized as university

The Judea and Samaria Higher Education Council has decided to grant university status to the Ariel University Center, making it Israel's eighth university and the first beyond the Green Line. Eleven council members voted in favor of the proposal and two opposed. (Tomer Velmer)
