The initiative, which was founded by artist and lighting designer Gil Teichman, will display electricity demand side by side with the real time output capacity in Israel. The project is 100 meters tall, six meters wide and is composed of 4.5 kilometers of LED lighting strips and 270,000 light bulbs
.
The project will be placed on the power station's chimneys for three months and should be visible in the daytime as well.
The Energy Ministry stressed that the project's power consumption will be extremely low – nine kilowatts – which equals the electric consumption of four electric kettles.
