Gaza op day 5: IDF attacked more than 70 targets
Since midnight Saturday the IDF has attacked more that 70 targets in the Gaza Strip. The IDF has successfully attacked at more than 1000 targets since the beginning of Operation Pillar of Defense. The Iron Dome missile defense system has successfully intercepted more than 270 rockets fired at Israel, three of those today.
In summary, 872 rockets were fired at Israel, 31 of which fell within residential areas. The IDF added that this accounts for only 3.5% of total rocket fire. (Yoav Zitun)
