IDF: Palestinians tried to infiltrate border
The IDF Spokesperson's Unit said in a statement that "Some 300 Palestinians approached the border fence in the southern Gaza Strip during the morning, causing it damage. They ignored IDF orders to stay away from the fence, and some tried to cross the fence into Israel. IDF forces shots towards their feet in response."
Earlier Friday Palestinians reported one man was killed and nineteen others were injured by IDF gunfire near the Gaza border. (Yoav Zitun)
