Israel's British Film Festival, which will open in cinematheques across the country in late January, will include a salute to Monty Python.

A debut screening of the animated film "A Liar's Autobiography: The Untrue Story of Monty Python's Graham Chapman" will take place as part of the tribute.

Two of the surreal comedy group's classics will also be shown: "Monty Python’s Flying Circus" and "Life of Brian."

The festival, which is held on behalf of the British Council, will include additional premieres such as "Shadow Dancer" with Clive Owen, and "Seven Psychopaths," starring Colin Farrell, Woody Harrelson and Sam Rockwell.
