Habayit Hayehudi Chairman Naftali Bennett referred to his problematic relationship with the prime minister's wife Sara Netanyahu during a Channel 10 interview on Wednesday saying that "Sara and I took a terrorism class together."
Bennett was asked how he could work side-by-side with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife, and answered that he and Netanyahu had served together in the past in the General Staff Reconnaissance Unit: "It'll be OK; we really did serve in the same unit."

"You and Sara?" he was asked, and jokingly replied: "Yes, exactly... Sara and I mostly went through a terrorism course together. But what I wanted to say was – there's nothing 15 mandates can't fix."
Bennett, who was Netanyahu's chief of staff while he was the opposition leader, ran Netanyahu's campaign for the Likud's leadership in 2007 but later resigned his post, reportedly following a harsh dispute with Netanyahu's wife.
When he ran for Habayit Hayehudi's leadership, Bennett's associates claimed that Sara was tampering with the elections against him.
Habayit Hayehudi responded: "Habayit Hayehudi will help keep Prime Minister Netanyahu in the next government so that we could deal with the urgent social matters and strengthen Israeli deterrence.
"All questions regarding the prime minister's wife will be answered humorously, and we will not lend our hand to harm the prime minister through his wife. We will criticize his actions objectively, and recommend this course of action for everyone."
