Playboy magazine coming to Israel
Male-orientated publication to be released in Holy Land in print, online with Hebrew-language articles, photos featuring both local and international models

Founded by Hugh Hefner in 1953, the male-orientated publication will be released in the Holy Land in print and online with Hebrew-language articles and plenty of its usual glossy photos, featuring both local and international models.
A release date has not yet been set and some fear there could be objections.
In the past, under pressure from ultra-Orthodox Jews, some companies have removed billboard advertising from Israeli cities because it featured pictures of women.
But entrepreneur Pomerantz says he’ll avoid such problems by choosing content "perfectly matched to the Israeli market."
