A school principal was put under house arrest for 15 days for allegedly physically attacking a 9-year-old student at the school, Ynet learned.
The 9-year-old boy said the principal grabbed his ear and forcibly removed him from the building.

The boy told his parents of the incident this week – though the alleged attack occurred weeks ago – and the parents took the matter to the police. During police investigation, the principal denied the allegations, but police nonetheless decided to place him under house arrest.
Despite the minor's complaints, the school's parents committee expressed its support of the principal – and decided to cancel classes in protest.
"We don’t know why the principal was removed from the school for such a long period of time," the parents committee chairman told Ynet. "We don’t really know what kind of aggression this is about, and whether it justifies such an extreme move.
"This is a great school, with 800 students. We realize that such a shock can cause irreparable damage to the schoolchildren, to the school's reputation and to the education system."
