Network allegedly planned bombings, assassination attempts during recent Iranian election, ISNA news agency reports

The report on Tuesday did not say how many suspects were involved or give their names. It said the network had links with the CIA, Israel and some neighboring "reactionary" Arab nations.

From time to time Iran announces that it has dismantled espionage and sabotage cells linked to Israeli and Western intelligence services.
