Palestinian terrorist Ahmed Jabara who planned a terrorist attack in Jerusalem's Zion Square in 1975 has died of a heart attack in Ramallah at the age of 78.
Jabara was sentenced to life and thirty years in prison for his part in an attack that claimed the lives of 14 people. He was released in 2003 after serving 27 years as part of an Israeli gesture to the Palestinian Authority. Upon his release he was appointed Yasser Arafat's adviser on prisoners' affairs. (Elior Levy)
