Israeli charged with murder of British model to be released
The Supreme Court approved on Monday an appeal submitted by Yaniv Malka, an Israeli who murdered his girlfriend, a British model, and he is expected to be released after only 15 years in prison.

Malka (37) was sentenced in 1999 to life imprisonment in England, and was later transferred to serve his sentence in a prison in Israel. In recent years he has been running a legal battle in which he claimed that a UK regulation would have allowed his release after only 13 years, and that this regulation should be honored in Israel as well.
