US condemns Tel Aviv terror attack, requests details of Kafr Kanna shooting

The US condemned the knife attack in Tel Aviv, but also asked Israeli authorities to clarify what happened when Khair Hamdan was shot dead by police in Kafr Kanna on Friday.

Meanwhile, Jen Psaki, spokesperson of the US State Department, criticized a call by Iran's Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, to destroy Israel. "If we succeed in preventing Iran from building nuclear weapons, the greatest threat to Israel's existence will be removed," she said.
