Kadishman art sees record demand
Sales of iconic Israeli artist's work have soared since his death on May 8 at age of 82; artist most famous for 'sheep' series of paintings.
Israelis who have one of his distinctive pieces hanging in their home have shared their images of the work on social media, some garnering thousands of likes and shares.
Kadishman, an Israel Prize laureate, was one of the most renowned Israeli artists and was successful both domestically and abroad. The most recognizable motif in his work was the colorful sheep paintings for which he rose to prominence.
