Coldplay frontman Chris Martin discretely landed in Israel on Sunday for a visit with two women, arriving from India where he put on a concert at the Global Citizen Festival for human rights, peace and tolerance.
Shortly after landing in Israel, the singer headed south to the Tamar Regional Council, located near the Dead Sea where he met with Council Head Dov Litvinoff. According to sources from within the council, Martin was in awe of Israel and it is rumored that he may even give a concert in the area.
“It was a long meeting, and he is in awe of Israel,” said the sources. “The chances of a local performance are high.”
Martin, who will be staying in a luxury hotel in Tel Aviv during his visit, is a known human rights activist.
He has several tours planned for various sites in Israel.
