Netanyahu welcomes incoming Chief Justice Esther Hayut
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu welcomed Justice Esther Hayut on her appointment to be Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.
Netanyahu thanked the outgoing Chief Justice, former justice Miriam Naor, for her work.
"The Israeli justice system is one of the most esteemed in the world," said Netanyahu, "and does much to strengthen Israel's international standing as a law abiding democracy."
