Defense Minister: we will not hesitate to thwart Iran's attempt to encircle us with enemies
Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman said at the graduation ceremony of an officer training course at Bahad 1 that "the biggest challenge is the Iranian attempt to build a strangle ring around us. For years they built Hezbollah, then the Islamic Jihad, and now they are slowly taking control of Hamas."
Lieberman added that "what is happening in Syria led by Iran is part of the same strangle ring. We will not hesitate for a moment to prevent the Iranians from completing it."
