Knesset raises minimum wage to NIS 5,300

The Knesset plenum approved the second and third reading of the bill to raise the minimum wage from NIS 5,000 to NIS 5,300.
The motion was unanimously passed by 59 Knesset members. According to the law, the raise will take effect on December 1, 2017.
